Study goals
The overriding goal is
to support Member States and the European Commission in “supporting and boosting investment in eHealth”, by shedding light and providing an identification of solutions to common challenges faced by the Member States in terms of leveraging investments in eHealth.
This will result in concrete policy recommendations on how to adjust the supply side of eHealth financing in order to optimise the use of resources available for boosting investment in eHealth, including ways to add value trough collaboration between Member States. Supporting investment will include the preparation of a guide on effective and efficient management of eHealth investments, aimed at direct investors, and thus supporting the demand side. These recommendations are intended to help close the gap between supply and demand of financing eHealth, and thus aid Member States and the European Commission in their efforts to support and boost investment in eHealth.
